Bio: Carmen was born and raised in Cucuta, Colombia. She attended St. Thomas University where she earned a degree in Dental Medicine in 1996. She obtained her license as a dental hygienist in 2005. Carmen has been working with Dr. Trujillo since 2013.

Bio: Carmen is a Registered Dental Hygienist with over 20 years of experience in the dental field. Before coming to the United States, she obtained her University Degree in Dentistry and ran her own practice in Venezuela for several years. She finds joy in what she does in the dental field and in helping her patients live healthier lives. In her spare time, Carmen lives right here in Doral only blocks from the office and loves traveling, reading and going to the beach and spending time with her only son.

Bio: Megan has been with our office since 2020. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Dental Hygiene degree in 2016 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She and her husband relocated to South Florida in an effort to live within a short flight of their families in Detroit, Michigan and Cartagena, Colombia.

Bio: Born and raised in Colombia, she attended Univ. of Cartagena achieving a BA in Education then moved to US in 1990. In 1994 she became a certified dental assistant, now having experience in all scopes of dentistry for over 20 years. Experienced with children and all areas of prosthodontics, she has been head assistant since December 2012.

Bio: My name is Jessica Carrera and I have been a dental assistant for over 15 years. I enjoy educating our patients about treatments recommended by our doctors and addressing questions or concerns they may have, as well as reviewing many ways they can maintain a healthy smile. I became interested in the dental field after having dental treatment performed by my aunt, who is a dentist in the Dominican Republic. As a dental assistant, one of the aspects I love about my position is working with my hands to fabricate temporary restorations. I also enjoy the makeover process and helping our patients achieve a smile they will love. During my time out of the office, I love spending time with my family and as a hobby, I like to journal and make papercrafts.

Bio: I was born in Nicaragua and graduated from American University (UAM) as a dentist. In 2016 I went to AVM Dental school and graduated with Expanded duties and Dental Radiology certifications.  My goal is to become a dentist in the United States.

Bio: My name is Katy Torres I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. I have been working in the dental field since 1999. I enjoy working with patients and making them feel as a part of our dental family. I love spending time with my family, gardening and reading.

Bio: Born and raised in South Florida. She obtained her BA in Science from Florida Atlantic University and is a Certified Dental Assistant. Kathy has over 10 years working in the Dental field and also with Smile Xperts. She loves helping others and providing the absolute best dental knowledge to our patients.

Bio: Melissa graduated from Broward College in 2010 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She served as President of The Florida Student Dental Hygiene Association from 2009-2010.

She is a dedicated mother of three children, ages 17, 12, and 2.In her free time, she enjoys being active. Especially rock climbing, kayaking, and dance classes.
